César Gastardelli is the chef behind Eivi Chefs, creating memorable private dining experiences for villas and celebrations across Ibiza. Originally from Argentina, César grew up surrounded by the tradition of gathering around food, where cooking was always about sharing time, conversation and connection.
Today, he combines this cultural heritage with professional culinary training and experience in respected restaurants in Barcelona and Ibiza. His cooking blends Mediterranean ingredients, international technique and the authentic spirit of Argentinian asado.

Professional Culinary Training
César trained at the prestigious Hofmann Culinary School in Barcelona, one of Spain’s most respected gastronomy institutions. Known for producing highly skilled chefs, Hofmann focuses on mastering culinary technique, understanding ingredients and developing creativity in the kitchen.
This training provided César with a strong professional foundation and helped shape his approach to creating refined yet relaxed dining experiences.

Restaurant Experience

Before founding Eivi Chefs, César developed his culinary skills working in a number of respected restaurants in Barcelona and Ibiza.
His experience includes renowned kitchens such as Tickets and Pakta in Barcelona, where he was exposed to innovative gastronomy and international flavours. He also worked at La Lluna in Barcelona, focusing on Mediterranean cuisine and seasonal ingredients.
After moving to Ibiza, César continued his career in some of the island’s well-known restaurants including Blue Marlin, Las Dalias, and Elements, gaining experience in vibrant beachside dining and high-quality Mediterranean cooking.
These experiences helped shape his versatile style, combining international technique with Mediterranean ingredients and the Argentinian grilling traditions that remain at the heart of his cooking today.
Life and Cooking in Ibiza

César has been living and working in Ibiza since 2015, where he has built a reputation as a private chef for villas, celebrations and special events.
Through Eivi Chefs, he offers a range of dining experiences including:

In Argentina, barbecue is more than simply grilling food — it is a social ritual where friends and family gather around fire to share food and conversation. Growing up with this tradition gave César a deep appreciation for cooking over open flame and creating relaxed dining experiences centred around great food.
Today, he brings this authentic asado culture to Ibiza through his Argentinian BBQ experiences, preparing premium meats slowly over fire in the traditional style.
